
Sr. Electrical Engineer LV, Power Electronics
Power Electronics group at Lucid Motors is looking for an Sr. Electronics Engineer who will be involved in developing low voltage control electronics for power converters. The successful candidate will do research, development and optimization of electronics design while collaborating with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams to implement technologies that define Lucid powertrain. The Role:
· Analysis and design trade-off studies of electronics architecture and cost-effectiveness
· Design, build and test high quality electronics hardware for using in automotive applications.
· Start to finish ownership of hardware – from specification to design, component selection, prototype, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and high-volume manufacturing.
· Generate and maintain BOM revision and variance
· Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, firmware engineers to design and validate electronics
· Worst-case analysis and DFMEA
· Capture design and development documents such as requirements, interface control document, design description document, hardware-software interface documents and hardware release documents, etc.
Qualifications:
· Hands-on experience on electronics design
· Strong background in Low voltage digital and analog circuits
· Familiar and experienced circuit simulation tools
· Familiar and experienced schematic capture and PCB layout software, worked with OrCAD is preferred
· Familiar with ESD and surge power protection
· Familiar with handling high voltage
· Familiar with electromagnetic compatibility
· Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience is preferred
· Proficiency with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Signal Generators etc.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$140,000 - $192,500 USD
