Job Overview:

Lucid is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. PLM Tools Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3DExperience, DELMIA, CATIA, ENOVIA, change management, manufacturing simulation, Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), Service Bill of Material (SBOM), Bill of Process (BOP), PLC systems, MES and ERP integrations, and overall manufacturing systems. The candidate who fills this role will support Lucid in the areas of service, manufacturing and design software tools, identify and solve business process gaps, engage with service, manufacturing and design customers, document best practices, support integration activities and implement efficient and effective solutions.

The candidate shall exhibit a proactive and collaborative attitude with an appreciation for learning while approaching their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, communicate with customers effectively, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· DELMIA Simulation Expertise:

  • Document methods and best practices for DELMIA with respect to layout, simulation, and optimizing manufacturing processes.

  • Analyze production lines and processes to identify potential areas for DELMIA simulation implementation.

  • Develop and validate digital twin models for all Lucid manufacturing environments.

· Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM):

  • Ensure accurate Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM) for proper configuration of components, assemblies, consumables and final products.

  • Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design Engineering teams to ensure MBOM alignment with product design and specifications.

  • Streamline the change management process for MBOM data and analyze areas for improved efficiency.

· Service Bill of Material (SBOM):

  • Develop and maintain Service Bills of Materials (SBOM) documentation for post-manufacturing services.

  • Align SBOM data with both EBOM and MBOM data structures.

  • Ensure SBOM accuracy with aftermarket and replacement part ordering and tracking.

  • Serve as primary contact for SBOM and service engineering customers.

  • Streamline the change management process for SBOM data and analyze areas for improved efficiency.

· Bill of Process (BOP):

  • Develop and maintain Bill of Process (BOP) documentation, detailing the physical locations, steps and precedence required for all product configurations.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineering to ensure all BOPs are aligned with Lucid production capabilities.

  • Streamline the change management process for BOP data and analyze areas for improved efficiency.

· PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Systems:

  • Support, optimize and consolidate PLC related processes and systems within the manufacturing environment.

  • Ensure PLC systems are integrated effectively with MES and/or PLM systems to improve manufacturing control and data accuracy.

· MES and ERP Integrations:

  • Lead efforts to integrate PLM data with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

  • Ensure seamless data flow between systems to support real-time production monitoring, inventory management, and order processing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between PLM, MES, ERP, and other manufacturing systems.

· Overall Manufacturing Systems:

  • Work on the design, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing systems that optimize production data workflows.

  • Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to implement improvements to manufacturing systems and processes.

  • Analyze and optimize system performance, focusing on minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

· Education:

  • BS or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

· Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in a related field, with hands-on experience in DELMIA, CATIA, ENOVIA, MBOM, SBOM, BOP, PLC, MES and ERP integrations.

  • Extensive knowledge, practical use and training in 3DExperience (DELMIA, CATIA, ENOVIA)

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, simulation, system integration, and industrial automation.

  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex manufacturing systems and process improvement methodologies.

  • First-hand experience with quality methodologies such as DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP and Control Plans.

· Required Skills:

  • Expertise in DELMIA, Manufacturing Simulation and related tools for process modeling and optimization.

  • Proficient in the creation and management of Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM), Service Bills of Materials (SBOM), and Bill of Process (BOP).

  • Solid understanding of PLC systems, including parameter control and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with MES and ERP integrations, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to automate and align systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.

· Preferred Skills:

  • Scripting / programming skills preferred (VBScript, Python, C++, etc.)

  • Experience with additional manufacturing software or platforms.

  • Knowledge of Project Management, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$120,000 - $150,000 USD
