
Employee Development Professional
The Employee Development Professional will report to the Program Manager, Employee Development at the Lucid AMP-1 factory in Casa Grande, AZ. This role is responsible for facilitating in-person and webinar-based sessions, and designing, developing, and implementing training material for Lucid Motors employees. Duties will include working successfully with cross-functional departments to assess their training needs, schedule and facilitate training classes, collaborate with stakeholders to determine training needs, and coaching employees. Another key responsibility will be implementing project management practices that enable an effective and efficient training development process.
You Will:
- Instructional Design
- Create engaging and compelling course content using a variety of delivery methods and modalities such as webinars, eLearning, instructor-led training (classroom), etc.
- Ensure instructional content aligns with the company’s branding standards, learning theories, and organizational objectives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather training needs to translate that into a quality training experience for adult learning
- Review training content to ensure it meets guidelines and standards
- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to stakeholder timelines and required deliverable dates
- Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and procedures through project manager tracking tools
- Gather and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders to make data-driven improvements
- Provide expert guidance on instructional design methodologies and tools to other team members and stakeholders
- Project management abilities, including planning, organization, and problem-solving
- Facilitation
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training experiences in both a manufacturing and office environment
- Maintain training facility and equipment
- Develop and conduct onboarding sessions for new hires
- Create and execute learning strategies and programs based on the needs of the business
- Measure learning effectiveness
- Interact with shop departmental leaders to resolve training concerns and drive process improvements

You Bring:
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning principles
- 1 -2 years’ experience developing engaging instructor-led, eLearning, performance support materials using various tools, including AI
- 1-2 years’ experience facilitating to mid to large sized groups
- 1-2 years’ experience in leadership course development and facilitation
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Skilled in organizing and establishing priorities
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Detail-orientated
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations
- Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, Captivate, and SAP Success Factors
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
- Bachelor of Science in Instructional Design or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years’ experience)
- Knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
