Beyond providing competitive salaries, we’re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

Lucid is seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to manage demand planning, forecasting, spend management, and the overall battery cell value stream across various programs, form factors and chemistries.  This role manages all company business related to Lucid’s battery cell planning and will own the MRP signal for all cell suppliers. The Master Scheduler serves as the key internal interface with Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure Lucid delivers world class products on time.

As the Master Scheduler of Battery Cells you will be the orchestrator of our battery supply chain. You’ll lead the end-to-end planning process for battery cell demand, balancing commercial targets, production forecasts, and supplier readiness. This role sits at the intersection of operations, supply chain, finance, and engineering — a high-impact, high-visibility position for someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You’ll bring clarity to chaos and ensure that battery supply keeps pace with our rapid growth.

You Will:

  • Build and own the battery cell master schedule across programs, aligning factory build plans, supplier capacity, and product delivery timelines into a single, actionable plan
  • Translate vehicle forecasts into multi-tier demand signals for battery cells, pack components, and cell input materials — working backward from end-product to raw material
  • Manage demand planning for all battery cells within Lucid’s ERP engine and maintain robust master data accuracy
  • Develop and iterate monthly/quarterly demand and supply plans, integrating commercial outlooks, program milestones, and supplier inputs to maintain continuity of cell supply
  • Create and manage robust inventory strategies — including optimized stock levels and efficient logistics flows — to minimize line-down risk without overstocking
  • Partner with Finance to own cell-related annual budget planning, spend tracking, and variance analysis — ensuring visibility to both budget and actuals at a granular part number level
  • Model scenarios for demand surges, supply disruptions, product shelf-life expirations and ramp delays, proactively identifying gaps and developing mitigation strategies
  • Lead cross-functional planning reviews with engineering, operations, and sourcing — driving alignment across timelines, volume assumptions, and production readiness
  • Develop dashboards and reports to visualize inventory health, forecast accuracy, and supply-demand alignment for both tactical decision-making and executive reporting
  • Continuously refine planning processes and tools, implementing best practices in MRP, forecast accuracy, lead time optimization, and cross-functional communication

You Bring:

  • 4–7 years of experience in supply chain, operations, demand planning, or strategy — ideally with exposure to complex manufacturing or hardware environments
  • Experience owning or contributing to integrated demand, inventory, or material planning processes at a program or company level
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and planning rigor
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to translate data and models into clear, actionable narratives for decision-makers
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities

Nice to Haves:

  • Background in management consulting, strategy, or operations at a top-tier firm or high-growth company
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; highly proficient in ERP engines as well as SQL & Excel and capable of structuring analyses from scratch
  • Experience with supply chain or operations in the automotive, battery, hardware, or industrial tech sectors
  • Familiarity with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Anaplan, O9), and able to define system requirements or workflows
  • Prior experience in scaling planning processes during periods of rapid organizational or production growth
  • Exposure to high technology product industries or planning in high-volume environments
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MEng, or MS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field) a plus
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Outstanding strategic critical-thinking skills coupled with high emotional intelligence
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements, market conditions, and technological advancements
  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Chinese, Japanese or Korean, would be advantageous considering the geographic location of many battery cell suppliers

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
