 Position Summary

As the Incentives Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping Lucid’s commercial success in the region. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing incentive programs to support sales performance, market share growth, and customer adoption. This includes overseeing and incorporating government incentives, Direct to Consumer and Indirect distribution retail programs, and B2B program strategies.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, regional market expertise, and a collaborative approach to working cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Financial Services and Legal functions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of manufacturer incentive programs across European markets.
  • Monitor and interpret country-specific EV incentive schemes and regulations, working closely with government relations teams.
  • Develop and manage direct to consumer and indirect retail and fleet incentive programs that align with corporate objectives.
  • Implement a strict analysis, planning and execution cadence to manage the timely launch of quarterly incentive programs, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Management of Lucid Care semi-permanent customer programs, monitoring uptake, utilization and impact with recommendations to refine.
  • Analyze program effectiveness, ROI, and customer impact; optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure budget alignment and with sales to measure impact on performance.
  • Support pricing strategies with market-specific incentive planning as part of new and used vehicle price proposals.
  • Regular reporting on key competitor incentive and market actions and market dynamics to ensure Lucid remains competitive.
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to local laws and guidelines on incentive promotion and support.
  • Provide training and support materials for internal teams and retail partners. Work closely with Marketing and Enablement teams to ensure appropriate communications about forthcoming programs are provided in a timely and accurate way across both Direct to Consumer and Indirect channels.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in incentives, pricing, or commercial planning roles, ideally within the automotive or mobility industry.
  • Strong knowledge of European automotive markets and EV incentive ecosystems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and financial modeling; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; other European languages a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
