
Logistics Supervisor - 2nd shift

This role involves leading a diverse team of up to 25 staff, launching new plants and/or products in an automotive manufacturing environment, and partnering with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs. You will:
- Actively foster a safe and inclusive environment, prioritizing team well-being and high-quality work.

- Ensure standardized processes are followed, emphasizing quality, safety, and productivity.
- Promote continuous improvement; support your team in creative problem-solving.
- Oversee timely material replenishment to keep production efficient and uninterrupted.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges with materials or production flow.
- Monitor and report on essential metrics such as inventory accuracy and material handling efficiency.
- Lead with empathy and recognize individual and team achievements.
- Support team member growth through coaching, development, and training opportunities.
- Build an environment where diverse voices are heard and respected.
- Oversee daily material handling functions and facilitate smooth material flow across departments.
- Use lean manufacturing practices to ensure efficient operations and effective introduction of new parts.
- Support the implementation of process and engineering changes through strong communication and planning.
- Ensure your team’s safety and maintain all documentation up to date.
- Lead briefings, communicate clear objectives, and foster open, effective dialogue.
You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience and training are valued.
- 3 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics/material flow or relevant automotive/manufacturing industries.
- 3 years of direct team leadership experience, with a collaborative and empathetic style.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective across all levels of an organization.
- Willingness and flexibility to support various shifts, including day, night, weekends, and holidays as needed.
