The Network Planning Manager will play a pivotal role in Lucid Motors’ European expansion strategy. As a newly created position, the role offers the opportunity to directly influence how the Lucid brand is scaled across new markets by shaping the physical and operational network required for long-term success.

Working at the intersection of commercial strategy, operational planning, and regional execution, the Network Planning Manager will lead all facets of network design — including geo-location mapping, sales and service coverage analysis, and market business planning. The role will be critical in supporting the transformation to an indirect sales model through distributors and non-genuine agency partners, as well as defining the aftersales footprint to ensure customer confidence, fleet readiness, and long-term brand reputation.

The Role:

Network Strategy Execution
Translate Lucid's European expansion strategy into a cohesive network plan across sales and aftersales
Support the transition to an indirect sales model across distributor and agency partner markets
Planning & Modelling
Develop scalable distribution models tailored to market potential, including volume forecasts, breakeven analysis, and market prioritisation
Create and maintain market-by-market coverage maps using geo-location data and heat mapping tools
Aftersales Footprint Planning
Define optimal service coverage to support retail, fleet, and leasing channels
Ensure aftersales readiness is aligned with vehicle rollout and partner onboarding timelines
Data & Reporting
Manage all network-related planning data, KPIs and performance dashboards
Prepare financial business case inputs, scenario models, and board-level reporting
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with local market leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Aftersales, Finance, Legal)
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to local leadership and executive board
Business Planning & Partner Assessment
Evaluate new dealer/distributor proposals against strategic, operational, and financial benchmarks
Support creation of business plans for each market and partner type

Qualifications:

Experience & Background
5+ years in automotive network planning or distribution strategy
Proven experience at an OEM or a specialist consulting/agency environment
Exposure to multi-market or pan-European network deployment is highly preferred
Skills & Capabilities
 Strong analytical and commercial acumen
Fluent in using mapping, modelling and business planning tools (Salesforce, Tableau/Power BI, Excel)
Able to simplify complexity and present strategic insights to senior stakeholders
Understanding of both sales and aftersales network dynamics
Attributes
 Structured, data-driven and detail-oriented
Adaptable and collaborative, with a growth mindset
Comfortable in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
