
Automotive Technician, Event Support Team
As a Service Technician on the Event Support Team, you’ll play a hands-on role in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) that travel for marketing and brand events. Responsibilities:
- Travel with the Marketing, Brand & Sales teams, providing technical support & upkeep of their vehicles
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors, and charging systems, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- A capacity to creatively solve problems and think quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Confidently repair electro-mechanical issues and perform diagnostics
- Maintain a high knowledge level of high voltage, low voltage, and general electric vehicle systems
- Ability to problem-solve both Technical and Process-flow issues. SME (Subject Matter Expert) in at least 1-2 major repair categories
- Effectively work with the appropriate software suite to properly and completely document all customer vehicle interactions
- Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiences
- Flexible work availability and ability to travel as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts (up to 100% at times)
- Support new market launches and gallery/service center openings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Service Technician or Diagnosis Technician
- Enjoy direct customer interaction and supporting Marketing & Sales events
- Flexible work availability and ability to travel as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts (up to 100% at times)
- Prior experience diagnosing and repairing High Voltage (HV) systems, Low Voltage (LV) systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
- Flexible work availability and ability to travel as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts (up to and exceeding 80% at times)
- Ability to travel with limited notice.
- Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
- An innate drive to maintain product and company reputation, always complying with company communications policies
- Provide technical support during press events and ensure that all vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.
- Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with Field Engineering Team pertaining vehicle preliminary diagnosis
- EPA 609 Certification
- Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE Certified Master Technician
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$32 - $42 USD
