
Sr. Facilities Engineer
The Sr. Facilities Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and optimizing all planned and unplanned maintenance activities for facility and production support equipment. The role ensures safe operation, high asset reliability, audit readiness, cost control, and continuous improvement, while supporting engineering, technician teams, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Operation Planning & Scheduling
- Plan, schedule, and control all preventive and corrective maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Own the weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
- Track execution, completion, backlog, and rescheduling of work orders.
- Support emergency and breakdown maintenance with fast prioritization and follow up.
- Plan, Schedule and control all operational running projects
Work Order & CMMS Management
- Manage planned, unplanned, and emergency work orders end‑to‑end.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded, closed, and reported.
- Maintain audit‑ready maintenance records, including calibration and statutory inspections.
- Capture maintenance data such as breakdowns, losses, costs, and root‑cause trends
Inventory & Spare Parts Management
- Monitor and control inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Issue material from central warehouse as per workorders.
- Define minimum/maximum stock levels and critical spares.
- Coordinate spare parts ordering, receiving, verification, and storage.
- Control POs, cost tracking, and consumption accuracy.
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability of all materials
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, verify, and maintain maintenance documentation, including:
- SOPs and work instructions
- Equipment history files and logbooks
- Labor and material usage records
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and internal quality systems.
- Provide fast access to records during audits and inspections.
Cost Optimization
- Support maintenance budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
- Identify maintenance‑driven continuous improvement and capital projects.
- Analyze KPIs, trends, and equipment performance to improve reliability.
- Recommend optimization of maintenance strategies based on data and capacity.
Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with Production Planning, Engineering, Facilities, and Operations teams.
- Support Team Leaders, Engineers, and Technicians through structured follow‑up.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on maintenance status, risks, and priorities.
- Report abnormal conditions, breakdowns, spare shortages, or risks to management.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or MS degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably focused on facility utilities in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or similar).
- Working knowledge of facility safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
