We are looking for a skilled Electrical/Hardware Engineer to join our Vehicle End-of-Line (EOL) team, supporting the validation and bring-up of vehicle electrical systems during manufacturing. This role involves designing and maintaining test systems, developing diagnostic tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality vehicle output. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll play a key role in improving EOL processes, equipment reliability, and First Time Through (FTT) rates. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, diagnose and troubleshoot test systems (e.g. sub-assembly testers) from an electrical/hardware perspective.
- Develop and maintain vehicle EOL test routines using in-house/third-party authoring tools.
- Develop and implement processes to bring up and validate the vehicle's electrical systems during manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement systems to manage and maintain End-of-Line (EOL) test equipment.
- Lead initiatives to improve EOL FTT (First Time Through rate).
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineers to collect and interpret the component and vehicle level requirements and to translate them into a scalable system-level validation procedure to be performed during the vehicle testing process.
- Identify the root causes of issues during vehicle bring-up, and EOL testing, and work with Lucid software integration/manufacturing teams to develop robust resolutions.
- Develop engineering tools to support activities such as software flashing, diagnostic services, and engineering data exchange.
- Provide on-site support to manufacturing partners to manage vehicle bring-up including troubleshooting of vehicle systems, end-of-line testing, and sensor calibration.
- Provide support to manufacturing operations functions to vehicle/tool concern diagnostics and troubleshooting.
