Summary:

The ERP Logistics Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing the logistics modules, including warehouse and transportation management, and related areas. This role ensures effective implementation, configuration, and support of ERP solutions that optimize logistics, procurement, inventory, and distribution processes across the organization. The position combines hands-on SAP expertise with team leadership and project oversight responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the ERP team focused on warehouse and transportation modules (e.g., SAP EWM & TM).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, sales, and finance to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare support for warehouse and transportation processes.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and enhanced ERP functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues related to warehouse, transportation and logistics workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards through ERP system controls.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation of system processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external consultants when necessary.
  • Lead ERP upgrade and integration projects
  • Allocate resources, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, business processes, and operational procedures.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands on experience in SAP logisitics specially in EWM and TM modules
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role overseeing SAP projects
  • Proven experience in managing full lifecycle SAP implementations (Planning to go-live and support).
  • SAP certification is a must, ideally in warehouse or transportation.
  • Prefer certified professional such as TOGAF, PMP or ITIL
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities including inbound/internal/outbound processes, warehouse structure, RF framework, stock movements, physical inventory, and labor management.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning, freight orders, freight settlement, carrier selection, route optimization, and integration with third-party logistics providers.
  • Familiarity with EWM and TM in the S/4HANA embedded landscape.
  • Experience integrating EWM and TM with SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP, as well as external systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, carrier portals).
  • Ability to independently configure system settings in EWM and TM; understanding enhancement frameworks and user exits.
  • Skills in handling material master, business partners, packaging specifications, and transportation lanes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve system and process-related issues quickly.
  • Proven ability to lead SAP EWM/TM projects end-to-end (design, implementation, go-live, and support).
