Summary: 

As a Senior IT Client Engineer onsite at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), you will own the end-user compute (EUC) lifecycle across Windows, macOS, Linux endpoints, and mobile devices (Android/iOS). You are responsible for security hardening, patch management, and automation using PowerShell, bash, and Python. You will manage endpoint platforms including JAMF, Intune, SCCM, and Tanium, and oversee Active Directory and DNS administration to ensure robust identity, access, and name resolution. You will support the organization’s O365 environment—Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune—managing accounts, permissions, licensing, and compliance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures all endpoints, O365 services, and infrastructure meet business and security requirements.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Define and drive EUC strategy for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
  • Architect and maintain standard builds, images, and baselines aligned with CIS, NIST, and ISO frameworks.
  • Deploy and configuration of Jamf Pro, Intune, SCCM, and Tanium for scalable endpoint management.
  • Automated software packaging, updates, and patch management workflows.
  • Own compliance reporting and audit closure for endpoint security and asset management.
  • Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, bash, and Python to streamline operations.
  • Integrate endpoint platforms with CMDB, security tools, and telemetry dashboards.
  • Lead incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
  • Govern change management for endpoint releases to ensure reliability.
  • Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Applications teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support escalations for endpoint solutions.
  • Administer and support O365 (Microsoft 365) services and email systems, including user management, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints
  • Mobile device management expertise (Android/iOS)
  • Proficient with JAMF, Intune, SCCM, and Tanium endpoint management tools
  • Skilled in enterprise backup solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and DNS administration
  • Advanced patch management and compliance enforcement
  • Automation skills using PowerShell, bash, and Python
  • Security hardening of endpoints and infrastructure
  • Administration of O365 (Microsoft 365): Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Service Management)
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and deliver successful infrastructure projects
