The Senior Engineer – Logistics Engineering Systems supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of logistics-related IT systems that enable efficient and reliable supply chain operations. This role is involved in the integration and optimization of platforms such as SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Sequencing & Kitting systems, Pick-to-Light, and lineside replenishment systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational processes. The Senior Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams—including logistics, IT, operations, and external vendors—to drive system enhancements, resolve issues, and support automation and digitalization initiatives that improve data accuracy, process efficiency, and overall system performance across the logistics network. 

You Will

  • Support the definition and implementation of logistics systems requirements across logistics operations, including inbound logistics, material flow, warehousing, finished vehicles, packaging, and facility launches. 
  • Serve as the key liaison between Logistics and Systems teams to ensure seamless integration of operational and digital solutions. 
  • Develop and manage KPIs, performance dashboards, and analytics to monitor operations and drive accountability. 
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring resource alignment, milestone tracking, and delivery against cost, time, and performance objectives. 
  • Develop and execute system launch plans for new projects. Track progress, issue metrics, and facilitate data-driven decision-making via dashboards and reporting tools. 
  • Translate operational logistics needs into scalable system solutions. Partner with IT and business stakeholders to design, test, and implement enhancements. 
  • Evaluate current system capabilities and provide recommendations for improvements. Lead analysis, design, development, and testing of system changes. 
  • Identify areas of opportunity using data-driven insights to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of logistics-related master data and configurations. Monitor system integrations and overall system health in partnership with IT. 
  • Conduct what-if scenario analyses, resolve system discrepancies, and lead functional enhancements that support evolving logistics operations. 

You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience with logistics systems design, implementation, and/or management. 
  • Minimum 1~2 years experience in related supervisory/team lead role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, and advanced data querying and reporting tools. 
  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP, JDA TMS, WMS, and EDI transactions (Must)

Skills

  • Strong engineering and project coordination skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes 
  • Expertise in SAP logistics modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, EWM) 
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) 
  • Systems integration and configuration skills 
  • Proficiency in process analysis and business requirements gathering 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues effectively 
  • Understanding of database management and SQL 
  • Experience with system testing, validation, and user training 
  • Familiarity with automation tools and workflow optimization 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior management 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights 
  • Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards related to logistics systems
