
Quality System & GRC Manager
Lucid Motors is looking for a highly motivated QMS and GRC Manager to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated team on challenging projects. In addition to developing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, the QMS and GRC Manager work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with Design Engineering, Homologation, Legal, Launch, Quality and Production to define, deploy and implement all regulatory requirements within all manufacturing shops to comply with regulation in all countries where Lucid is expanding its market.
You Will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and certified ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Develop and implement CoP (Conformity of Production) requirements and associated control plans to comply with Lucid Vehicles’ export destinations
- Coordinate and perform surveillance of production’s sample size based on safety standards and regulations based on vehicle’s export destination
- Define and implement ISO 9001 internal and external audits planning and track associated gaps and action plans
- Ensure Involvement and cascading of the QMS at plant level and involving all concerned stakeholders and Interested parties
- Collaborate and coordinate with Corporate Quality for QMS updates and alignments
- Work closely with Homologation and Program Teams to ensure vehicle homologation in all export destinations
- Provide QMS and GRC training and instructions to all cross-functional teams
- Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company
- Work with production departments to have proper error proofing put in place on safety and government regulatory processes
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
- Ensure full interface with third party certification bodies for both ISO 9001 and CoP
- Coordinate with functional leaders and department heads to prevent recurrence through systemic action plans
- Closely collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Process Engineering teams engineers to design and implement the ideal workstation controls for the governmental and regulatory items
- Conduct reviews on launch cycles of finished vehicles to identify any assembly conditions that could potentially represent a risk to safety or regulation compliance and ensure that containment and correction activities are also implemented
- Create and lead a team when safety and government regulatory issues are detected
- Work cross-functionally with Product Design, purchasing and manufacturing in forward model meetings to ensure lessons learned are put in place
- Plan, coordinate and execute QMS Management Reviews and document and track associated outcomes and improvement plans
- Define and deploy QMS and GRC continuous improvement plan
- Contribute into defining Quality training needs to reinforce Quality culture and mindset through QMS
- Ensure proper administration of Qualtrax System and its deployment at AMP2
- Bachelors Degree, Master’s degree in Engineering, preferred industrial/Quality/production Engineering
- Implementing Quality systems in a greenfield plant is a must
- 8+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing organization is a must
- Experience in leading the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949 standard is required
- ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 internal auditor qualification is a must
- Knowledge of CoP (Conformity of Production) requirements is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized
- Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment and scalable organization
- Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational
- Presentation and communication skills are a must
- Ability to coach and train people at different levels of the manufacturing organization
- Excellent analytical & technical writing abilities and comprehensive understanding of Document Control, problem solving, Procedures development among other organizational processes
- Project management capabilities are a plus
