
Sr. Global Supply Manager, Interiors
Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager to lead strategic sourcing for Interior systems and components. This senior-level role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving commercial negotiations to support Lucid’s Interior commodity portfolio. You will serve as a key interface between Engineering, Finance, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions that meet program timelines and quality standards.
You Will:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Interior commodities (e.g., seats, trim, cockpit modules), balancing cost, quality, delivery, and innovation.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and program requirements.
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFIs, analyze supplier proposals, and present sourcing recommendations to executive stakeholders.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, tooling, and non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs.
- Drive contract development and ensure compliance with Lucid’s terms and conditions.
- Manage purchase order issuance for prototype and production tooling, ensuring alignment with program milestones and budget targets.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks related to delivery, quality, or cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing status, cost tracking, and supplier health to internal leadership.
- Travel up to 15–25% for supplier visits and program reviews.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement for mechanical/electrical components.
- Strong understanding of the full procurement lifecycle, including RFQ/RFI processes, cost analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive cross-functional alignment across global teams.
- Familiarity with product development cycles and quality systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
