
Material Handler

As a Material Handler at our Casa Grande Facility, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials and components across our production environment. This position requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality
Responsibilities
- Transport materials between loading docks, storage areas, and production lines using manual and powered equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, tow motors).
- Receive, verify, and document incoming shipments; ensure materials are stored and staged appropriately.
- Perform quality checks to confirm materials meet company and industry standards.
- Maintain organized inventory records, crosscheck shipping invoices, and update delivery logs.
- Support lineside replenishment and warehouse operations, including staging, sorting, and labeling cargo.
- Operate assistive devices such as slings and hooks to maneuver heavy loads.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and adhere to Lucid’s MHE safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material flow and resolve any logistical issues.
- Uphold Lucid’s safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership across shifts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–3 years of experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including sit-down forklifts, order pickers, tow motors, and pallet jacks.
- OSHA forklift certification strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, stoop, and walk throughout the shift.
- Availability for overtime and flexible scheduling.
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive or advanced manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with Lucid’s safety and environmental standards for MHE and MEWP operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
