
Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer
Location: Newark, California (100% Onsite)

We are seeking an Exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Chief Financial Officer and Finance leadership team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting C-Suite executives in public companies, with a proven ability to manage complex calendars, confidential information, and high-stakes interactions with investors, board members, and senior stakeholders. You Will:
- Schedule meetings for the CFO and other members of leadership, including conference rooms, background materials, training sessions, agendas, action items.
- Assist with creating and modifying PowerPoint presentations.
- Compose and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material requiring judgment as to content, accuracy, and completeness.
- Manage correspondence between departments.
- Prepare and submit expense reports.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professional acumen.
- Host on-site meetings with dignitaries and investors.
- Coordinate and manage senior executives’ challenging calendars and maintain Outlook contact files.
- Manage domestic and international travel arrangements for the team.
- File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
- Collaborate with other Executive Assistants to streamline departmental workflow and communications.
- Track and report departmental expenses; code invoices for approval and signature.
- Operate proactively, anticipating needs and initiating action without requiring supervision.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, following through on issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in performing all duties.
You Bring:
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience) with a financial background strongly preferred; demonstrated experience supporting and working closely with Finance teams.
- 10+ years of executive assistant experience, including direct support of C‑suite executives; prior experience supporting a CFO is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a public company environment preferred, with familiarity supporting Board governance, earnings cycles, and regulatory-driven deadlines.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate the needs of the CFO and Finance leadership, proactively identifying risks, priorities, and solutions in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Absolute discretion and sound judgment in handling highly sensitive financial, corporate, Board, and executive information.
- Polished executive presence and the confidence to interact effectively with Board members, investors, auditors, senior executives, and external partners.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure, maintaining composure, precision, and urgency while managing competing deadlines tied to financial cycles and reporting timelines.
- Exceptional prioritization, time management, and calendar management skills, supporting a CFO with multiple and shifting business‑critical priorities.
- Strong partnership skills, serving as a trusted extension of the CFO and a key liaison between Finance, Legal, Audit, Investor Relations, and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and data/information management capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including professional‑level writing and correspondence on behalf of an executive.
- Ability to navigate unexpected demands, confidential issues, and high‑stakes interactions with professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion at all levels.
- Collaborative, highly organized team player who fosters strong working relationships while driving results independently.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Base Pay Range (Annual)
$124,200 - $182,160 USD
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
