Software Integration Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Requirements & System Integration: Analyze and decompose system-level ADAS/AD requirements into actionable software tasks; ensure alignment with system architecture, safety standards, and cross-domain vehicle integration.
- SW Architecture Design: Lead the design of robust, reusable, and high-performance software architectures for behavior planning (Level 2–4 AD/ADAS/parking), including system fault-handling mechanisms and state machine implementation.
- Software Development & Testing: Develop automotive-grade, safety-compliant software with focus on low-latency and high-reliability execution; validate via unit, SIL/HIL, and on-vehicle testing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with perception, localization, control, and validation teams to ensure seamless feature integration and end-to-end delivery of AD/ADAS functionalities.
- Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Drive software integration, optimization, and process improvements to enhance development efficiency, performance, and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of software development experience in autonomous driving, ADAS, or robotics, with a focus on large-scale data and real-time systems
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ with solid understanding of software engineering design principles and best practices
- Proven track record of delivering ADAS/AD features through the full production lifecycle: requirements analysis, architecture/design, implementation, unit testing, feature tuning, SIL/HIL validation, and in-vehicle deployment
- Hands-on experience with software integration on embedded platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Xavier/Orin, Infineon Aurix)
- Demonstrated ability to build reliable production-grade systems, including large-scale architectures, evaluation pipelines, and performance-optimized models
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industry experience with a Master’s degree in autonomous driving or robotics
- Practical experience with in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and ECU network tools (Vector CANoe, CANape, etc.)
- Familiarity with middleware solutions such as DDS or ROS2, and understanding of real-time, scalable data exchange in distributed systems
- Experience with safety-critical software development compliant with ISO 26262 or other automotive safety standards
