
Jr. Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
The Junior Maintenance Technician program is a two-year program intended to train successful candidates the tasks, skills, and knowledge relevant to becoming a Maintenance Technician. Successful candidates for this program will be enrolled in a technical education program at a local community college. Successful candidates will be expected to attend and pass assigned classes required as part of the program. The program will require successful candidates to be assigned study topics to be performed outside of normal work hours. Successful applicants will work alongside Maintenance personnel to receive hands on experience in industrial maintenance during normal working hours.
You Will:
Work with a qualified individual to learn the following:
- LOTO
- Electrical
- PLC
- Robot programming, installations, troubleshooting and commissioning
- Safety Circuits
- Problem Solving
- Troubleshooting
- Basic Electronics
- Industrial Controls
- Mechanical
- Lifts and Rigging
- Material Handling
- Machining
- Pneumatic and Hydraulics
- Identify hazards
- CMMS
- Other skills as determined by business needs
- Learn awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Learn to work with a mentor, as a team, or independently as skill set improves
- Learn to work closely with all facets of the production group
- Learn to provide technical expertise or assistance
- Learn to effectively communicate to production group and various internal customers as appropriate
- Be required to attend and pass classes at a local Community College
- Perform other assigned tasks as determined by leadership
You Bring:
- Must have been working at Lucid for minimum of 12 months.
- Must understand the Lucid Production System.
- Must understand the 6S process.
- Be willing to support other departments as required in order to provide business needs
- Be willing to adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.
- Enforce and follow all Safety rules and regulations.
- Professional, informative, and responsive communication skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows
- High School diploma or GED.
- Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather.
- Note there is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other.
