Lucid Motors is at the forefront of redefining collision repair in the electric vehicle era. This position offers a unique opportunity to take an established program and elevate it further—setting new benchmarks for safety, quality, and customer experience across Europe.

In this role, you will refine and implement a forward-thinking collision repair strategy that strengthens our brand and supports continued growth. By enhancing our high-performing network of body shops and fostering strong partnerships with insurers and internal teams, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence combined with innovative technology.

You will oversee performance, enforce standards, and drive continuous improvement—ensuring every repair meets Lucid’s uncompromising safety and quality requirements. If you excel at developing frameworks, guiding partners, and elevating customer experience on a large scale, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact on Lucid’s European operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an innovative collision repair strategy aligned with Lucid’s brand standards across Europe.
  • Establish, grow, and manage a third-party body shop network to support expansion.
  • Build and lead the European collision repair program team as volume scales.

Drive Partner Performance

  • Monitor network performance using clear KPIs (e.g., safety, quality, cycle time, key-to-key, first-time-right, NPS).
  • Take proactive measures to address underperformance and disengage from non-compliant partners when necessary.

Enable Parts and Distribution

  • Collaborate with Parts & Supply Chain teams to optimize body parts distribution processes in Europe.
  • Resolve escalations promptly to maintain repair flow.

Ensure Compliance and Standards

  • Embed and audit Lucid’s SOPs and Authorized Body Shop standards.
  • Implement corrective actions to close gaps and ensure compliance across the region.

Adapt Tools for European Operations

  • Partner with internal teams to tailor program software (e.g., Technical Information Portal, Network Management System) to European requirements.
  • Manage the rollout of diagnostic laptops and specialized tooling to approved shops.
  • Oversee estimating platforms (DAT/Audatex), network management systems, and act as subject matter expert for tooling program support and training.
  • Lead the network audit program.

Experience
  • 5–7 years of diverse automotive experience, including significant expertise in collision repair or vehicle painting.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with individuals, teams, vendors, and business partners.
  • Previous experience with premium or electric vehicle brands (e.g., BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche).
  • Proven track record in building and managing partner networks.
  • Prior experience managing a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or Management—or equivalent experience such as a German Master Craftsman qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and readiness to work with internal systems (e.g., DMS).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Smartsheet.
  • Valid Class B driver’s license.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills preferred.
