
Sr. AI/ML Manufacturing Technology

Lucid’s AI/ML organization is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Project Manager with deep expertise in AI/ML and advanced manufacturing technologies to lead AI‑enabled manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives. This role applies machine learning across manufacturing systems, data intelligence, physical AI, and automation, including Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG, and agentic workflows. Partnering closely with Manufacturing, IT, Data, Automation, and AI teams, you will drive scalable solutions across MES and IT/OT environments that support plant operations, expansion, and measurable business impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining, driving, and delivering the AI/ML internal solutions that create value and return on investment within the Lucid workforce and customer-facing AI products that deliver industry-leading user experience commensurate to the quality and excellence of the Lucid brand.
You Will:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of manufacturing systems projects (MES, Ignition, CMMS, and related platforms).
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies across cross‑functional teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to support manufacturing operations and expansion initiatives.
- Track and communicate project status, metrics, and risks to leadership.
- Support deployment of AI/ML‑enabled manufacturing solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and data intelligence.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful execution.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of full lifecycle IT and/or Manufacturing Project Management experience.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on manufacturing systems.
- Experience managing cross‑functional projects in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile environments and tools such as JIRA or Smartsheets.
Advantageous:
- Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Experience in automotive, EV, manufacturing operations, IoT, or automation.
