Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Human Resources Project Manager (HR PMO) to drive the planning, execution, and governance of strategic People & Places initiatives. This role will partner closely with HR leadership and cross functional stakeholders to manage enterprise HR projects, organizational transformation efforts, workforce planning initiatives, process improvements, and operational programs that support Lucid's continued growth across global corporate and manufacturing populations.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive program manager with experience leading complex, cross functional projects within HR, People Operations, or a PMO environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects remain on schedule, risks are mitigated, stakeholders are aligned, and executive leaders have visibility into progress, decisions, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project and Program Management
- Lead end to end delivery of strategic HR and People Operations initiatives across corporate, manufacturing, and shared services functions.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, governance structures, and communication plans.
- Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
- Manage interdependencies across HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Communications, and business functions.
- Monitor project health, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage complex, cross functional projects that span multiple business functions, geographic regions, and manufacturing locations.
Executive Reporting and Governance
- Prepare executive level presentations, dashboards, and status reports for senior leadership.
- Maintain project governance processes, documentation, decision logs, and action trackers.
- Drive consistency across project operating models, templates, and reporting frameworks.
- Support leadership reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive decision making.
Transformation and Change Management
- Support organization-wide transformation initiatives, workforce planning programs, and operating model changes across global teams and business functions.
- Partner with HR leaders to assess impacts, develop implementation plans, and monitor adoption.
- Coordinate change management activities, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
Process Improvement and Operational Excellence
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Standardize project management methodologies and best practices across the People function.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, governance documentation, and workflow processes.
- Leverage data and metrics to support decision making and continuous improvement efforts.
Cross Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, People Operations, People Analytics, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Shared Services, Finance, IT, Legal, Communications, and leaders across corporate and manufacturing organizations.
- Partner with business leaders to define requirements, track deliverables, and ensure successful execution.
- Build strong relationships across functions to drive alignment and remove execution barriers.
Team Leadership and PMO Management
- Provide leadership and day-to-day direction for HR PMO activities and project resources.
- Establish and maintain project management standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the People organization.
- Mentor and develop project managers, analysts, and project team members to drive execution excellence and professional growth.
- Prioritize project portfolios and resources to ensure alignment with business objectives and executive priorities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, HR operations, HR transformation, consulting, or related functions.
- Experience managing complex, cross functional initiatives with executive visibility.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices.
- Exceptional organization, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Preferred
- Experience supporting HR, People Operations, HRIS, Shared Services, workforce planning, transformation, or PMO initiatives within a global organization.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, or other project management certification.
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, technology, or high growth organizations.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors, Workday, or other HR technology platforms.
- Experience creating executive dashboards and project metrics.
- Experience managing enterprise-wide programs involving multiple regions, business units, and senior stakeholders.
