Lucid is seeking an associate event manager to join a team of world-class event professionals for Lucidchart. Beloved by 30 million users across 180 countries, Lucidchart is a visual workspace that combines diagramming, data visualization, and collaboration to accelerate understanding and drive innovation.
Today, Lucidchart’s annual marketing events program consists of trade shows, regional customer events, and a global customer event. We’re looking for an associate event manager who can work with the existing team to help coordinate events, manage inventory and maintain global calendars.
Responsibilities:
- Support overall event strategy through ownership of execution of trade-shows and regional user events, including in-person, virtual and hybrid formats
- Travel to events and assist event managers in overall event execution
- Coordinate production and maintain inventory of swag and booth properties
- Book venues and travel in accordance with company practices
- Liaise and vet third party vendors to execute on relevant events.
- Coordinate all logistical elements of relevant events including shipping, receiving, packing, system maintenance, survey results, lead retrieval, and other logistics
- Manage all event set-up, tear-down and follow-up processes for in-person events
- Maintain event budgets in conjunction with event manager and accounting
- Work cross-departmentally to align and partner with sales and customer success to communicate relevant events and their details
- Partner with creative, demand generation, public relations, email and product marketing teams to create alignment and execution on all event related materials and activities
- Contribute to assessment of events overall success and submit findings via inclusive post mortem reports
- Upload leads to CRM and email team for vetting and future use as contacts
- Partner with Sales and CX to implement field marketing events throughout assigned region
- Ability to work cross-functionally to effectively collaborate with a global team across several times zones
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years event experience
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Unusually high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to make events successful. You don’t make excuses for poor execution and don’t accept them from others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
