The Role

We’re hiring an Area Sales Manager to own retail execution and distributor partnerships in the Bronx & Westchester, NY territory. As the face of Lucky Energy in the market, you'll lead with hustle, manage retail accounts, partner with DSDs, and grow our footprint with new placements and promotions.


What You’ll Do

Retail Execution & Account Management

  • Visit top retail accounts daily to ensure strong merchandising, stocking, and display execution

  • Build strong relationships with store managers and decision-makers to drive incremental placements and local promo opportunities

  • Execute in-store programs—POS, secondary displays, sampling events, and more

  • Troubleshoot retail issues quickly, from OOS to pricing problems

Distributor Engagement & Support

  • Work closely with our DSD partners to ensure strong pull-through and regular order flow

  • Train and motivate distributor reps to prioritize Lucky Energy

  • Support route rides, market blitzes, and new account prospecting

  • Provide ongoing feedback on distributor performance and retail dynamics

Sales Growth & Account Acquisition

  • Open new doors weekly—identify, pitch, and close independent and chain accounts

  • Target high-opportunity areas using sales data and local insights

  • Win premium placements: coolers, endcaps, stack displays, and more

  • Consistently hit sales goals and KPIs with urgency and accountability

Reporting & Insights

  • Track and report on weekly performance, including sales data and field execution

  • Identify and escalate challenges and competitive activity

  • Use insights to adjust territory strategy and optimize efforts

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with marketing on localized campaigns and brand activations

  • Coordinate with operations to ensure product flow and retail service

  • Share market feedback with leadership to improve field execution company-wide


Who You Are

  • A natural relationship-builder who connects quickly and communicates clearly

  • A motivated self-starter with a bias for action and results

  • Organized and data-savvy—you know how to use insights to win

  • Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

  • Experience in beverage, CPG, or DSD is a major plus—but not a must

  • You thrive in the field and love being on the move (this is not a desk job)
