Ludia Consulting is actively seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation Project Manager that has a DNA-level excitement about organization, milestone completion, and project success. This position will collaborate with client resources up to Leadership level to understand business objectives and requirements, identify functionality gaps, and solve items of concern. 

Reporting to the D365 Consulting Director, the Implementation Project Manager will manage day-to-day project activities and support the implementation team while acting as the direct liaison between the client and development. The ability to juggle multiple duties in an organized manner is critical for success in this role, as the IPM may run 1-5 projects at a time. 

Consultants are challenged to understand and respond to clients' varied business needs and work with clients to rapidly enhance the internal capabilities needed to improve operational and process performance. Keeping the final goal in mind while remaining flexible in the short term makes the project, and the client relationship, fresh and exciting. 

 As an Implementation Project Manager in the Dynamics 365 practice, you will use your business process knowledge and operations consulting skills to quantitatively analyze issues and drive solutions to transform our client's business. 

 Essential Functions 

  • Create and execute project work plans and revises when appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. 
  • Ensure clients clearly understand the status of projects throughout all phases; including completed tasks, pending deliverables, and outstanding items. 
  • Drive internal and external resources to ensure client and company objectives are met. 
  • Manage the project budget to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. 
  • Review project timesheets for accuracy and completeness. 
  • Manage and identify project scope variations. 
  • Responsible (Owner) for timely project completion, risk and issue identification / resolution, and customer delivery. 
  • Effectively applies Ludia Consulting’s implementation methodology and enforces project standards. 
  • Comply and help to enforce standard policies and procedures. 
  • Facilitate weekly status meetings and consistent Steering Committee meetings. 
  • Coordinate staff for troubleshooting, testing, or training. 
  • Manage client deliverables along with internal developmental milestones. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once 
  • Gather and understand detailed functional requirements and collaborate with various customer organizations to identify feature details and document their needs. 
  • Utilize communication skills, project management experience, technical expertise, problem-solving, and data analysis skills to drive to successful software implementation and customer success 
  • Utilize good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all disciplines and levels in the organization. 
  • Supervise experts in their respective workstreams as they work through application design and architecture 
  • Coordinate with technical staff for application build, test, and deploy activities. 
  • Drive functional consultants and client staff to complete test planning and execution. 
  • Exhibit leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of a process, technology, strategy, and organizational changes  
  • Suggest improvements to internal processes along with viable solutions to be more efficient. 
  • Effective interface with Operations organization for billing and contractual tasks and escalate when they are in jeopardy. 

 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business or technology related BA/BS 
  • An understanding of project management philosophies, including Agile/Lean Principals 
  • 5+ years in software management or project management 
  • 3+ years of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations/Finance & Supply Chain/AX2012 implementation experience 
  • Experience with at least 1 full end to end ERP implementation 
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and processes quickly (i.e., Requirements Gathering, Software Development, SSO, APIs, etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of at least one software development methodology  
  • Ability to learn to communicate and demonstrate company and product benefits and best practices 
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to both accuracy and quality 
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication 
  • Ability to lead people, teams, and projects 
  • Understanding aspects of business management and strategic evaluation 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products 
  • High motivation and work philosophy 
  • Able to work independently and take personal responsibility 
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops 
  • Experience with Microsoft Project 

 

Desirable Experience 

  • Master's degree in business or technology 
  • Dynamics 365 Certifications (F&O/F&SC or CE/FS) 
  • Project Operations experience 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project 
  • SCRUM or PMP is a plus
