Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Development Specialist

Remote-US

Ludia Consulting is one of the fastest growing and innovative consulting firms in Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain, Customer Engagement and Power Platform. We are looking for a team member that is committed to helping others and their communities while also growing professionally as part of our Ludia family.

We are not just a traditional organization; we are driven to help our partners and clients while delivering value every day. Our team members are also encouraged to grow by sharing their knowledge and experience through a multitude of community driven channels including local non-profit organizations.

The Role

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Development Specialist plays a critical role in expanding and deepening relationships with organizations that have already implemented or are actively using the Dynamics 365 product suite.

This role is consultative and solution-focused, centered on guiding prospects and customers through the Dynamics 365 portfolio, articulating Ludia’s differentiators, and uncovering business pain points that drive incremental value, optimization, and transformation.

You will work closely with Microsoft sellers, Ludia delivery leaders, and solution architects to help customers understand what’s possible next in their Dynamics 365 journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Installed Base & Account Growth

  • Engage Dynamics 365 customers who are live, partially deployed, or underutilizing the platform.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, modernization, or adjacent workloads (Finance, Supply Chain, CE, Power Platform).
  • Position Ludia Consulting as a trusted advisor, not a transactional reseller.

Consultative Discovery & Value Messaging

  • Lead structured discovery conversations to understand customer pain points, business priorities, and operational challenges.
  • Walk prospects through Dynamics 365 capabilities, differentiators, and real-world use cases relevant to their industry and maturity level.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes and ROI-driven value narratives.

Microsoft & Partner Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft sellers, managers, and solution specialists.
  • Participate in planned Microsoft cadence calls, account planning sessions, and opportunity alignment meetings.
  • Support co-sell motions by providing customer insights, use-case alignment, and opportunity shaping.

Lead to Opportunity Conversion

  • Drive conversion from discovery to sales-qualified opportunities using Ludia’s CRM and internal collaboration tools.
  • Coordinate opportunity briefings, internal handoffs, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support opportunity strategy, next-step definition, and closure planning.

Marketing & Events Support

  • Provide field insight and customer perspective to support marketing campaigns, industry events, and Microsoft-sponsored initiatives.
  • Assist with event targeting, account selection, and follow-up strategy.
  • Represent Ludia Consulting at conferences, onsite meetings, and community events as needed.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience selling or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ideally within a partner or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, including Finance, Supply Chain, CE, and Power Platform.
  • Proven success in consultative, multi-stakeholder sales motions.
  • Experience leveraging CRM systems for pipeline management and opportunity tracking.
  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting and account research tools (e.g., ZoomInfo).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive-level engagement skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, delivery, and Microsoft teams.
  • Curious, energetic, and motivated to continuously learn and grow.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States as needed (travel requirements may vary).

Benefits / Why Ludia

  • Family- and community-focused culture
  • Remote-first environment when not traveling
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) plan
  • Ongoing learning, growth, and Microsoft ecosystem exposure…and more!

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
