Commercial Project Coordinator

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Our Counter Solutions Division focuses on residential and commercial countertop template and installation along with component top manufacturing throughout the Lumbermen’s territories. This position would offer the opportunity to provide estimates, work with vendors and implement solid surface and stone projects throughout the Midwest. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reviewing –Reviewing and interpreting blueprints provided by customers to create detailed take off specifications.
- Coordinating/Follow up – Formulating estimates based on the many factors related to the scope of the project, vendor requirements and jobsite requirements.
- Customer Relations – Data entry of component orders and emailing customer acknowledgements to verify pricing and ship dates.
- Production Collaboration – Communication with our Project teams, our customers and our vendors with estimate updates, project implementation, installation management, project follow through, planning and closing out of the project.
- Quoting – Provide product knowledge and expertise when it comes to the materials we are quoting.
- Living Out Lumbermen’s Culture – Overall working alongside the Lumbermen's team to provide the Counter Solutions Experience to our customers.
WHO WE NEED:

- Competency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to read blueprints received from customers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to interpret specification sheets from architects and designers
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Natural detail orientation
- Solid understanding of importance of accuracy and precision in work
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma required – Bachelor’s degree beneficial
- Blueprint knowledge/training beneficial. Bluebeam software experience also beneficial.
- Countertop-related industry experience beneficial, but not required
