POSITION SUMMARY
This paid internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of the Entry Door Division within Lumbermen’s and to assist in a variety of tasks and projects. Interns will be able to work alongside the Operations team and will complete special projects to gain valuable experience in the engineering field and better our organization going forward. Specific opportunities this position offers include:
- Learning company philosophies, culture, and branding.
- Learning communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding the business channel, we operate in and how we go to market.
- Focus on problem solving complex and technical operational issues.
- Support process development and document standard work.
- Design, develop, and implement workflow improvements that promote operational efficiency.
- Support LEAN manufacturing initiatives
- Completing a special project (to be determined based on areas of interest in the above)

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Pursuing a degree in supply chain or analytics.
