Role Description
We’re hiring a Customer Service & Operations Representative to join our remote team. This role sits at the intersection of patient support, healthcare operations, and pharmacy coordination.
You’ll assist patients, process orders, and support medication workflows across our platform — ensuring accuracy, clarity, and a positive patient experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working within medical protocols while knowing when to escalate to licensed providers.
Your role is to:

Help patients understand provider instructions

Ensure orders and documentation are accurate

Route clinical questions to providers appropriately

Maintain compliance and safety standards
Key Responsibilities

Respond to patient inquiries via chat, email, and phone with clarity and professionalism

Process, review, and track patient orders accurately within our EMR and CRM

Coordinate with pharmacies and internal care teams to ensure timely fulfillment

Verify patient information and medication instructions against provider notes

Identify discrepancies, safety concerns, or unclear instructions and escalate appropriately

Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions and order activity

Assist in improving workflows as LumiMeds scales

Meet performance metrics for accuracy, response time, and volume handling
Qualifications
-
STEM-related degree required (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
Strong preference for Nursing, Allied Health, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Applied Math -
Must pass a basic medical math assessment (mg, mg/mL, unit conversions)

3+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare operations, pharmacy coordination, or similar

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Comfortable managing high-volume, high-accuracy workflows

Tech-savvy; able to navigate tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, CRM/EMR systems, and Dialpad

Adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable in a startup environment

Flexible schedule; weekend availability may be required
Nice to Have

Nursing or clinical background

Experience supporting injectable medications or specialty pharmacies

Experience with healthcare compliance, documentation, or escalation workflows

Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills for tracking and verification
