We are looking for a versatile Senior Recruiter with a rare dual-competency: the ability to assess top-tier Software Engineers and the compliance-savvy mindset to hire licensed Medical Professionals.
You will own the full-cycle recruiting process for our two most critical pillars: Technology (Engineering, Product, Data) and Clinical Operations (Telehealth Practitioners, Medical Support).Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Recruiting (approx. 60%)
- Source & Vet Engineers: Find and engage Senior Full-Stack Engineers (specializing in Node.js, Next.js, React) and Product Managers.
- Technical Screening: Go beyond keyword matching. You should be able to screen for culture fit and basic technical competency (GitHub activity, portfolio reviews) before passing to engineering leads.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a high-velocity pipeline for remote technical roles across multiple time zones (LATAM, APAC, US).
- Hire Healthcare Providers: Source and recruit licensed Telehealth Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Dietitians experienced in weight management and metabolic health.
- Compliance Checks: Ensure all clinical candidates meet strict credentialing requirements (active licenses, board certifications, clean NPDB reports) before the interview stage.
- Medical Support Staff: Hire empathetic, knowledgeable Customer Experience agents who understand medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.
- Employer Branding: represent LumiMeds as a top-tier destination for both tech and medical talent.
- Data-Driven Hiring: Track metrics (Time-to-Fill, Source of Hire) to optimize our spend and speed.
- Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a HealthTech or high-growth startup environment.
- The “Hybrid” Factor: Proven track record of hiring technical roles (Software Engineers, DevOps) AND non-tech/clinical roles.
- Tech Savvy: You know the difference between Java and JavaScript, and you understand what a “modern stack” looks like.
- Medical Literacy: You are comfortable discussing licensure, telemedicine regulations, and HIPAA compliance with clinical candidates.
- Communication: flawless written and verbal English. You will be the first point of contact for U.S. doctors and Senior Engineers.
- Grit: We are a startup. You need to be able to handle shifting priorities and hunt for talent, not just wait for applications.
