People & Technical Talent Lead - Europe
About LumiMeds
LumiMeds is a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth company focused on weight management and long-term metabolic health. We work with a fully remote, globally distributed team and pride ourselves on moving quickly, communicating clearly, and building systems that actually work.
If you’re someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment, values structure and accountability, and enjoys working with U.S.-based teams, you’ll feel right at home here.
About the Role
LumiMeds is building the future of medical technology, and we believe exceptional people are the ultimate competitive advantage.
We are not hiring a traditional HR administrator. We are looking for a founding People leader who can architect our people infrastructure while aggressively building a world-class technical team.
This role sits at the intersection of talent, culture, and execution. You will be the strategic partner translating our technical roadmap into human capital, ensuring we hire, develop, and retain the engineers who will define our future.
You will own the full lifecycle of every LumiMeds team member, from the first technical screen through onboarding, performance, and long-term growth.
What You’ll Do
1. Technical Recruitment (Building the Engine)
-
Build and manage a high-caliber global pipeline across Full-Stack, AI/ML, DevOps, and Product.
-
Conduct rigorous initial technical screenings to ensure candidates meet our bar before engaging with leadership.
-
Develop a deep understanding of our architecture and roadmap to effectively position LumiMeds to senior and passive candidates.
-
Design and refine structured interview processes that prioritize signal over noise.
-
Implement and optimize recruiting systems and workflows that scale with company growth.
2. People Operations and Strategy (Building the Foundation)
-
Design and implement core People infrastructure including onboarding, global payroll coordination, compliance, documentation, and policies.
-
Establish performance management systems that reward high ownership and measurable output.
-
Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and compensation strategy.
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and internal People operations.
-
Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and high standards.
Who You Are
Startup Operator
You thrive in ambiguity. You understand that in early-stage companies, impact matters more than titles. You are comfortable operating across time zones and adjusting quickly as priorities evolve.
Technically Fluent
You can speak with engineers credibly. You understand modern stacks, know the difference between Java and JavaScript, and grasp how CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure function at a high level.
Systems-Oriented Recruiter
You are highly proficient with modern ATS platforms such as Greenhouse and know how to design structured hiring workflows, scorecards, reporting dashboards, and pipeline analytics. You do not just use recruiting tools. You optimize them.
Hybrid Builder
You bring 5 or more years of experience, ideally spanning technical recruiting in an agency or high-growth startup environment and in-house People or HR leadership.
Global Perspective
You have hired and supported distributed teams across multiple countries and understand the complexities of global remote work, compliance, and cultural nuance.
Why LumiMeds?
This is a founding-level People role. You will not inherit a handbook. You will write it.
You will shape how we hire, how we perform, and how we scale. You will directly influence the quality of the team that builds our product.
If you are looking for a comfortable, predictable corporate role, this is not it.
If you want to build something meaningful with high standards and real ownership, we should talk.
How to Apply
If this role sounds like a fit, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your application in English and ensure your resume reflects relevant experience for the role.
This position is open to candidates based in approved locations, depending on the role and business needs. Qualified applicants will be contacted for next steps.
LumiMeds is an equal opportunity employer. We hire based on skills, experience, and alignment with our values.
Please note: This role requires professional-level English communication and availability to work U.S. business hours.
