About the role:
The VP of IT will provide strategic leadership for all technology, data, and reporting initiatives across Luminary Hospice. This role will oversee IT operations, infrastructure, and the design and implementation of enterprise-wide analytics and AI-driven reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will combine operational excellence with forward-thinking innovation to enable data-driven decision-making, ensure compliance and security, and scale technology solutions to support growth and clinical excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with Luminary Hospice’s mission and growth objectives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, systems, and security protocols across all organizational units, including startups like Novo.
- Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support analytics, AI, and reporting initiatives.
- Drive enterprise-wide data governance, ensuring accuracy, compliance (HIPAA), and actionable insights.
- Oversee AI and advanced analytics initiatives to enable predictive modeling, operational efficiencies, and improved patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology and data solutions that support strategic business objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships, including SaaS solutions, cloud providers, and IT service partners.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT and data team capable of supporting both mature and startup operations.
- Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT compliance across all systems.
- Champion innovative solutions to enhance clinical, operational, and financial outcomes
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within healthcare, hospice, or multi-entity organizations including startups.
- Proven experience leading enterprise IT operations, data infrastructure, analytics, and AI initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise software, and data architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to implement AI-driven reporting and predictive analytics in healthcare or related sectors.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and data privacy standards
