
Business Analyst
Lumos is looking for a full-time Business Analyst! Business Analysts are critical drivers of our continued growth. From researching system solutions to evaluating and documenting business processes, the ideal candidate will be detail oriented, an expert communicator, and an outstanding analyst.

Essential Functions
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, operations, engineering) to develop analyses & documentation that optimize business & system processes.
- Formally initiate, facilitate, & deliver business, process & system requirements.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to discuss & clarify requirements and solution details – and prioritize requirements while identifying gaps, assumptions & dependencies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement - recommend solutions.
- Document and define end-to-end processes & solutions aligned with stakeholder needs & defined standards.
- Support the development & testing team – provide clarification on requirements, perform walkthrough & knowledge transfer sessions.
- Develop personas, use cases, testing plans, and user acceptance criteria for development & testing teams to approve releases.
- Conduct process & system analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Respond to stakeholder questions & concerns with supporting research and recommendations.
- Provide concise and meaningful updates on assigned work to all stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including departmental & cross-functional projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office; able to create reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Other Experience & Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience performing business analysis activities including facilitating, generating process requirements, documentation and reports.
- Experience with Jira, Nintex, Lucidchart, TMForum and Salesforce a plus, yet not required.
- Experience with Requirements Writing & Requirements Review.
- Entrepreneurial & self-motivation skills necessary.
