This role at Lunar Energy will be varied and exciting, working alongside both a local and international team. The ideal candidate will be personable, conscientious, curious by nature, and willing to take the initiative to resolve issues either before they occur or in short order to prevent them from escalating.

Please note this is an onsite position at our Mountain View, CA Office
On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely:
- Provide 1st/2nd line support to colleagues concerning issues with their devices or using any of the company’s SaaS platforms
- Procure equipment for new starters, provision accounts, or handle employee on/off-boarding
- Identify issues with and optimize IT processes
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring system performance
- Research and recommend new products or services
- Day-to-day user support
- Office systems support (video conferencing, room booking, access control, media systems)
- User onboarding/offboarding and basic training
- Documentation of new and existing platforms & processes
- Problem determination of network and connectivity issues
- Device procurement for various types of service requests
- Monitoring of endpoint management and security tools, proactively remediating issues
- Maintaining an inventory process, maintaining storage cleanliness
- Various projects to streamline all the above, automate processes, improve security etc

- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
- macOS and Windows device support & management
- Familiarity with Google Workspace & Slack
- Familiarity with MDM solutions
- Network troubleshooting - DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc)
- Okta administration
- Scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell)
- Azure AD
- Kandji
- Intune/Endpoint Manager

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the hourly range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $25-$35 per hour (USD)
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
