Senior Analyst - Finance Systems and Processes

The Senior Analyst - Finance Systems and Processes plays an essential role on the Finance team. This individual will lead and develop the end to end knowledge of the ERP currently in place but also the business systems specific to finance. They will act as the finance subject matter expert for system improvements and coordinate timely, accurate and complete finance input for projects as needed.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller , the Senior Analyst – Finance Systems and Processes will undertake the following RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, improve and maintain business system processes across retail, digital and manufacturing operational flows.
  • Be the “face” of Finance in business projects to ensure all finance needs are understood and met while supporting a nimble and agile approach to needed improvements.
  • Understand and document process flows to capture current state and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain Chart of Accounts, Financial calendar and other key data in the finance system.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings including defining meeting deliverables, assigning action items and following up with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate user-acceptance testing and regression testing of system enhancements
  • Support development of business cases to clarify and help prioritize projects Provide overall support, expertise and guidance to the Finance Team as it relates to software systems.

You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 5+ years progressive systems experience preferably in a manufacturing and / or multi-location retail environment.
  • Accounting designation, in process of obtaining CPA (CGA, CA, CMA) or equivalent accounting knowledge and experience
  • Must be able to understand and translate financial needs and ledger flows to a broad audience
  • Strong business acumen and ability to clearly identify opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them in a timely manner.
  • Proven team player that can drive discussion but is always open to hearing a different view
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and proven ability to work effectively within a team
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to focus, prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, high energy and high volume environment
  • Excitement and a commitment to learn, understand and relate to Lush’s core leadership practices.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and delegation capabilities

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 2012 or a comparable system is beneficial
  • Project management background is beneficial

Job Type: Regular, Full Time. Hybrid position. 2-3 days on-site is required.

Job Location: 2-3 days on-site is required. The successful candidate must be located in or around Vancouver, BC.

Base salary range is determined based on Vancouver market assessment. May vary depending on location of the successful candidate

$83,500 - $90,000 CAD
