The Influencer Marketing Lead plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the North American Digital Marketing team. You know how to be curious about opportunities and how to be real with feedback and support. 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strong influencer strategy for North America that aligns with Lush’s global vision and local business objectives. Your focus will be on driving brand awareness, web traffic, and footfall to stores across the U.S. and Canada through both earned and paid social media coverage. You are someone who can create engaging opportunities with content creators to generate buzz, excitement, and a strong brand connection.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for North America, the Influencer Marketing Lead undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic direction for influencer relations in North America, aligning with global goals while achieving local business outcomes
  • Develop a 360-degree influencer strategy that includes both paid and gifted content aimed at maximizing engagement and growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with mega, macro, and micro-influencers across North America, with a focus on the U.S
  • Oversee the “Friends of Lush” affiliate program, ensuring its effective execution
  • Collaborate with external agencies to meet campaign goals and objectives
  • Provide on-the-ground support for influencer events and meetings in Los Angeles (and other regional locations as needed)
  • Lead influencer activations that create impactful coverage for new and flagship products
  • Work closely with the PR, Retail Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  • Take an out-of-the-traditional-box approach, be disruptive in the industry 
  • Track influencer performance to ensure KPIs and benchmarks are met and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Provide mentorship to the team where necessary and identify where skillset development is needed
  • Build strong internal relationships and bring a sense of camaraderie to the team   
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget
  • Regularly report campaign outcomes and metrics to the Head of Marketing for North America

You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Influencer Marketing, with a proven track record of excellence 
  • In-depth knowledge of the social media landscape, with a well-established network of influencer contacts across multiple verticals
  • Experience cultivating and maintaining successful relationships with influencers and content creators across platforms, as well as internal networks and stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends and the ability to connect Lush with key moments, particularly within California, to tap Lush into the cultural zeitgeist and elevate the brand presence 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Track record of delivering strong results that build both brand awareness and directly impact business KPIs
  • Strong connection with the Lush brand mission and a champion for our diversity efforts
  • Proven leadership skills, able to inspire and mentor a team effectively
  • A creative thinker who will challenge the status quo in the beauty industry and beyond
  • Experience dealing with senior decision-makers
  • Passion for the retail industry, with an eye on the latest and greatest products and trends

 

Job Type: Regular, Full Time. Remote role, with occasional in-person support required at events and activations. 

Job Location: The successful candidate must be located in or around Los Angeles, California area.

This salary range is based on an assessment of the local market and may vary depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards eligibility.

Base Salary Range

$95,000 - $113,500 USD
