The Influencer Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Influencer Lead to help execute Lush’s influencer strategies. This role will focus on fostering new and existing relationships with influencers, tracking campaign performance, and supporting influencer events and activations. You will be involved in ensuring the smooth execution of influencer campaigns, including identifying new creators to engage, seeding products, and organizing influencer communications, to help grow brand awareness and drive community engagement.

Reporting to the Influencer Marketing Lead, the Influencer Marketing Specialist undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Influencer Outreach & Communication: Assist in identifying new creators and nurturing relationships with key influencers (mega, macro, and micro) in North America. Help maintain clear, open communication with influencers to ensure a positive brand experience.
  • Campaign Execution Support: Aid in the execution of influencer campaigns, ensuring that influencers receive products on time, content guidelines are followed, and influencers are engaged throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Affiliate Program Management: Support the Friends of Lush affiliate program, managing communications with affiliate influencers, ensuring smooth onboarding, supporting in task and activation ideation, and assisting in tracking performance.
  • Influencer Seeding: Handle the logistics of product seeding, including compiling target lists, tracking influencer requests, sending products, and following up to ensure coverage and engagement.

Campaign Coordination & Reporting:

  • Campaign Performance Tracking: Monitor influencer campaign performance, tracking engagement, sales, and EMV, and assist in preparing reports for the Influencer Manager and brand leadership.
  • Analytics Support: Assist in collecting data on campaign results, reviewing key metrics and identifying trends, success, and areas of growth to help the team optimize future campaigns based on insights.

Event & Activation Support:

  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of influencer events, including creative ideation, venue & vendor sourcing, production logistics and on-the-ground support
  • Event Results Reporting: Create comprehensive post-event reports capturing attendance, results, and insights for brand leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the PR, Digital Marketing, and Retail Marketing teams to ensure the execution of cohesive campaigns and consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Influencer Content Support: Assist in developing content guidelines for influencers and supporting them with brand-approved assets to ensure messaging is on point and consistent with Lush’s values.

Administrative & General Support:

  • Budget Tracking: Help track expenses and stay within the allocated influencer marketing budget, providing administrative support as needed.
  • Project Management Assistance: Assist the Influencer Manager in tracking ongoing projects and campaigns, ensuring that all deadlines are met and the execution is seamless.

You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-4 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, or public relations, ideally within beauty, lifestyle, or retail.
  • Relationship-Building: Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with influencers and key content creators, ensuring ongoing brand partnerships.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with influencers, creating campaign briefs, and supporting team efforts.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns, events, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation tools, and influencer marketing platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Influencity, etc.). Comfortable using spreadsheets, analytics tools, and reporting software.
  • Creative Mindset: A passion for creativity and the ability to help brainstorm new ways to engage influencers and create impactful campaigns.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environments, manage tight deadlines, and adjust to changes in influencer marketing strategies.

Salary Range:

  • Los Angeles and New York: $75,000 - $85,000 USD
  • Toronto: $75,000 - $80,000 CDN
