We’re excited to welcome a Summer 2026 Pharmacy Operations Intern as part of our growing pipeline of emerging healthcare professionals. This internship is designed for someone who is curious, relationship‑oriented, and eager to learn how pharmacy operations directly impact patient outcomes.

Pharmacy operations play a critical role in keeping infusion care running smoothly — from intake through ongoing therapy. As an intern, you’ll gain real‑world exposure to how operational excellence supports patient safety, continuity of care, and clinician effectiveness.
In this internship, you’ll contribute to work that:
- Supports patients throughout complex infusion and specialty therapy journeys
- Helps pharmacy and operations teams deliver care efficiently and compliantly
- Strengthens workflows that enable clinicians to focus on patient care
- Builds insight into how cross‑functional healthcare teams collaborate

What You’ll Do
During this internship, you will:
- Observe and learn day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, including infusion workflows and patient support processes
- Shadow Pharmacy Operations team members to gain exposure to intake coordination, documentation, and operational decision‑making
- Assist with operational tasks such as data entry, reporting, workflow tracking, and documentation
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings with pharmacy operations, clinical, and support teams
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying challenges and helping develop practical solutions
- Contribute to analytics, reporting, and special projects under the guidance of Pharmacy Operations leadership
- Assist with preparing presentations, internal communications, training materials, and process documentation
- Document insights and learnings from shadowing and projects to support future training and operational enhancements
- Engage in intern cohort activities and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in healthcare administration, pharmacy, business administration, or a related field
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in healthcare operations, pharmacy, or specialty infusion services
Preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting tools, or analytics (training provided)
- Prior exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, or operations environments

BioMatrix Pay Range/Rate
$20 - $20 USD
