Reimbursement Specialist
See your work in a new light.
At LUX Infusion, we’re reimagining infusion care to be more human, supportive, and connected. Inspired by lux—meaning light - we guide patients, providers, and partners through complex therapies with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
As a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, we put people first - helping patients feel seen and supported through faster therapy starts, dedicated care coordination, and meaningful collaboration. Our commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and advancement (IDEA) is central to our culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.
We’re looking for a Reimbursement Specialist who brings care, precision, and accountability to their work — someone who understands that behind every claim is a patient relying on access to care.
Why This Role Matters
The Reimbursement Specialist plays a critical role in helping patients receive timely therapy by ensuring claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and with integrity. While this role may not be patient‑facing every day, the impact is deeply human — helping remove barriers so patients can focus on their health, not paperwork.
In this role, your work helps:
- Create a smoother, clearer experience for patients navigating insurance

- Strengthen trust in LUX Infusion as a clinician‑led, patient‑first organization
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities include:

- Managing claim submissions, corrections, and follow‑ups with payers
- Collaborating closely with pharmacy teams, revenue cycle leadership, and field staff
- Bringing thoughtfulness, reliability, and follow‑through to daily work
- Identifying and implementing better ways to serve patients, providers, and teammates
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- Deep care about the human impact of your work
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
- Strong ownership and accountability for responsibilities
- Comfort learning, adapting, and growing in a dynamic environment
- A desire to be part of a team that values empathy and high standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of medical insurance experience
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet navigation)
- Strong customer service focus and professionalism
Preferred (Not Required)
- Home infusion experience
- Experience with CPR+ and/or CareTend
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
Schedule & Location
- Varied 8‑hour schedules across Eastern and Central time zones
- Hybrid role with work performed onsite in Overland Park, KS and remotely
- Work location and schedule may change based on business needs
