See Your Work in a New Light

At LUX Infusion, we’re reimagining infusion care as something more human, more supportive, and more connected. We lead with compassion and clinical excellence — ensuring patients receive safe, effective therapy while supporting pharmacy teams with clarity and trust.

We’re looking for a Relief / Per Diem Pharmacist who wants their work to mean something — someone who brings care, accountability, and purpose to patient care and pharmacy operations.

Why This Role Matters

The Relief Pharmacist plays a critical role in maintaining the quality, safety, and effectiveness of pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist‑in‑Charge. This role ensures patients receive appropriate, evidence‑based medication therapy while supporting technicians and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards.

In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:

  • Keeps patients safe through accurate medication review, verification, and education
  • Supports pharmacy operations through steady leadership and sound clinical judgment
  • Enables uninterrupted care in a clinician‑led organization focused on long‑term outcomes
  • Upholds regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards that protect patients and providers alike

Every shift helps ensure care continues smoothly, safely, and with confidence.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide clinical oversight of pharmacy operations when serving as pharmacist on duty, ensuring safe and effective patient services
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Review and verify prescription orders, ensuring correct product selection, dosing, and patient‑specific appropriateness
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, disease‑specific evaluations, and refill consultations as required
  • Deliver evidence‑based, cost‑effective medication therapy in accordance with FDA guidelines, manufacturer requirements, and LUX Infusion policies
  • Ensure appropriate patient education materials are provided and documented
  • Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, The Joint Commission), and internal quality programs
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and audits as requested
  • Bring calm leadership, sound judgment, and consistency to pharmacy operations during coverage periods

What We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you bring:

  • A strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and ethical pharmacy practice
  • Clear, professional communication with patients, technicians, and healthcare partners
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating with pharmacy staff
  • Strong decision‑making skills in fast‑paced or high‑responsibility environments
  • A desire to support a clinician‑led organization focused on meaningful patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state noted in the posting
  • Experience providing high‑quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy‑related technology platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1)–two (2) years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings

You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you show up as what’s on your resume.

At LUX Infusion, we believe care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Purpose‑driven clinical work with real patient impact
  • A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture
  • Supportive pharmacy teams and clear operational standards
  • Flexibility through a part‑time relief structure
  • The opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing infusion care organization

Come help ensure safe, seamless pharmacy care — and see what’s possible when expertise and compassion work together.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
