At LUX Infusion, we believe the financial side of care should feel just as clear and reliable as the clinical experience. We’re seeking Billing Specialists who bring accuracy, accountability, and a service‑oriented mindset to support patients, providers, and partners.
Why This Role Matters
As a Billing Specialist, you help ensure home infusion services are billed accurately, timely, and in compliance — supporting both patient confidence and the financial health of care delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and submit insurance claims for home infusion services (nursing, medications, supplies)
- Process electronic claims to Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance
- Verify documentation, billed codes, and billed vs. expected reimbursement amounts
- Evaluate payments, resolve discrepancies, and apply payments to patient accounts
- Navigate and interpret payer contracts and reimbursement rules
- Respond to billing inquiries with professionalism and strong customer service
- Stay current on billing regulations, coding guidelines, and payer requirements
- Perform data entry, administrative, and clerical support as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years experience in medical billing and collections (5+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance verification and reimbursement processes
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Home infusion therapy billing experience
- Experience with CareTend or CPR+
- Familiarity with clearinghouses and pharmacy billing systems

$25 - $27 USD
