We’re looking for a Director of Nursing who wants their work to mean something — a clinical leader who brings vision, accountability, and compassion to building nursing programs that prioritize safety, quality, and patient‑centered excellence.

Why This Role Matters

The Director of Nursing is accountable for the clinical integrity, regulatory compliance, and day‑to‑day execution of nursing services. This role ensures that home‑based and infusion care is delivered safely, efficiently, and consistently across all programs.

In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:

  • Ensures patients receive safe, high‑quality nursing care in their homes
  • Builds strong nursing teams grounded in clinical excellence and accountability
  • Maintains full compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC)
  • Advances a patient‑first, clinician‑led organization focused on outcomes
  • Strengthens continuity of care through thoughtful leadership and coordination

Your leadership sets the standard for how nursing shows up for patients, families, and care teams alike.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Services Department in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as URAC and ACHC accreditation standards
  • Develop, maintain, and update nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards of practice
  • Provide leadership and oversight for home health nursing services, including subcontracted providers
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staff
  • Oversee nurse competency development and continuous clinical education
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives, audits, and corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with Medical Director and Operations leadership to ensure excellence in patient admissions and ongoing care management
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets and nursing‑related expenses
  • Review patient care plans, clinical records, and outcomes for quality and compliance
  • Develop systems to ensure safe, effective, and therapeutically appropriate nursing care
  • Support coordination between nursing services and other patient care departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Serve as a senior clinical leader available for on‑call coverage and escalation support
  • Maintain active engagement with physicians and referral partners
  • Stay current with healthcare trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in home and infusion nursing

What We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you bring:

  • Strong clinical leadership experience and the ability to guide high‑performing nursing teams
  • A patient‑centered approach rooted in safety, empathy, and quality outcomes
  • Confidence overseeing regulatory compliance, accreditation, and quality programs
  • Strategic thinking balanced with operational execution
  • Clear, professional communication with clinicians, administrators, and external partners

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in home care or hospital nursing
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing leadership or management experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required for meetings, training, or oversight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
  • Specialty nursing certification
  • Nurse License Compact (NLC) eligibility
  • Working knowledge of home health regulations and accreditation standards

You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you lead, support teams, and advocate for patients as your credentials.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
