CMM Technician
Lydech Thermal Acoustical Solutions (TAS) manufactures industrial thermal insulating solutions, and thermal and acoustical barriers for heat abatement and sound dampening applications. Lydech TAS serves a number of markets with the majority of products sold to original equipment manufacturers and tier-one suppliers. Job Summary:
Responsible for executing CMM programs used to inspect product quality, certifying gauges / fixtures, maintaining gauge/fixture calibration system, and assisting with PPAP documentation completion and 8D problem solving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- · Execute CMM programs used to inspect product quality and certify gauges/fixtures.
- · Maintain gauge/fixture calibration system.
- · Assist with annual product and gage certification.
- · Repair of any missing/damaged gauges or check features (i.e. feeler gauge, broken pins etc…)
- · Conduct gauge/fixture R&R studies.
- · Supply CMM data for DOE’s or other floor related experiments.
- · Responsible for the periodic calibration and analysis of measurements and measurement devices.
- · Immediately report any unsafe act or condition.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)
- 2 year technical / electronics degree and 3 years of industrial controls and electronics experience.
- Strong technical experience with Allen Bradley based controls and software (RSLogix,RSView).
- Strong technical experience with VFD’s and Servo-based Motion control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving all facets of machinery (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic) with emphasis on PLC’s and Control systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize with minimal direction.
- Ability to function within cross-functional teams (comprised of peers and subordinates), utilizing good communication skills and a “hands–on” approach within all projects.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
Additional Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Experience on PC-DMIS CAD++ version 3.5
- GD&T Experience
