Line Operator (Sewing) - 1st Shift
Compensation: $15/Hr
Job Summary:
Responsible for efficient operation of the flex shield area, continuous production & inspection on production line. Primary responsibility will be operation of production line machinery. Meet production rates & improvement targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing sewing experience is required.
- Clearly understand operating and maintaining sewing machines (long arm, overlock, binding, etc.)
- Understand patterns and how to incorporate any pattern into a finished product.
- Responsible for prototypes, and any trials needed within the area.
- Must be able to perform in a team environment.
- Must be able to perform multiple task ‘s to meet department goals.
- Responsible for all 6S in the area
- Practice safe work habits at all times
Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate:
- High school graduate or GED required
- Possess good communication skills
- Must be able to use measurement devices
- Must be able to read and write
- Must possess good math skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background and reference checks
- Line experience – Sewing experience required
