Product Marketing Manager, Lyft Media

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. To achieve these goals, we are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to bring vision and go-to-market excellence to our Lyft Media team. 

In this role, you’ll develop product positioning rooted in customer insights, drive go-to-market strategies and optimize current growth programs to drive product adoption. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Business Operations, and Comms teams to develop compelling marketing strategies and sales enablement programs that deepen engagement with customers and accelerate revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ads product marketing, a track record of developing impactful marketing strategies, and a proven ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships. Experience in the ad tech space or experience with a marketplace business are a plus. A deep understanding of our brand’s core values and an ability to navigate a busy airport are a must.

As a Lyft Media Advertising Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for our ad tech solutions. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for our target audience. Your expertise will bridge the gap between product development and market adoption, ensuring our products resonate with customers and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new ad tech product features and launches.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to understand product roadmaps and technical details.
  • Translate technical specifications into clear, concise, and compelling messaging for various audiences.
  • Create product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate our solutions in the market.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, demos, and case studies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Partner with marketing communications teams to develop campaigns and content that drive awareness and adoption.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the advertising industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, ad tech platforms, and the associated ecosystem.
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in an agile environment.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with data-driven marketing and performance analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with programmatic advertising, demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), or data management platforms (DMPs).
  • Familiarity with API documentation and technical integrations.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.

The expected base pay range for this position in the New York City area is $118,000-$147,500. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
