 Finance Manager – Lyra Technology Group  

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Finance Manager for one of our Operating Companies located in London, England. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities across the company, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies. This role plays a critical part in financial planning, reporting, and strategic support for the leadership team.

Your work as a Finance Manager will include the following duties:   

  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ensure accurate and timely implementation of accrual-based accounting practices.
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS 15), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce and analyze management accounts, KPIs, and financial performance reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
  • Provide financial insight and support to department heads to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve financial performance.
  • Present financial results and analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work 

Our ideal Finance Manager has the following qualifications: 

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within a UK-based organization.
  • Proven experience in accrual accounting and revenue recognition.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with UK tax legislation and statutory reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

The targeted base compensation for this role is 45,000-55,000£ per year and will operate on a hybrid basis out of the office in London, England.
