President, Lyra Technology Group Operating Company
As President, you are the connective tissue of the business. Your job is to work with the CEO on strategy and translate it into a clear operating plan and drive the team to execute against it — with consistency, accountability, and urgency. You'll manage the day-to-day rhythm of the business: the meetings, the metrics, the decisions, and the people. And alongside that operational mandate, you'll own the commercial engine — ensuring the sales function is well-structured, well-led, and always growing.
Your work as a President will include the following responsibilities:
- Own the Revenue Engine. You will set the strategy for new logo acquisition and champion the Sales process while getting personally involved in deals and strategic accounts when it matters.
- Drive Profitable Growth. Make smart trade-offs between growth investment and profitability. Manage the P&L with discipline, optimize pricing, and ensure growth initiatives are grounded in ROI. Balance short-term performance with long-term health.
- Build a Culture of Accountability. Establish clear goals and scorecards at every level of the organization. Hold people accountable with consistency and care. Create the kind of environment where high performers thrive and underperformance doesn't linger.
- Operate from the Data. Build a metrics-driven culture. Define and track the right KPIs across operations, sales, retention, and customer success — and use them to make faster, better decisions.
- Streamline and Scale. Continuously improve the processes, systems, and structure that allow the business to grow without breaking. Ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency improve as the company scales.
Our ideal President has the following qualifications:
- A proven growth leader with a track record of growing revenues across multiple channels.
- Commercial fluency — you don't need to be a career salesperson, but you must understand the revenue drivers, own the number, and be able to lead a sales organization effectively.
- A proven integrator — someone with a track record of translating strategy into execution and holding teams accountable to results.
- Strong people leadership: you've hired, developed, and coached; you know how to build a team that performs.
- Background in SMB general management or senior operations leadership; MSP, SaaS, or technology services experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with structured operating frameworks (EOS/Traction, Scaling Up, or similar) is a meaningful plus
- Resourceful and hands-on: you're as comfortable in a pipeline review as you are in a process improvement conversation.
- Excellent communicator who can align a team around priorities, earn stakeholder trust, and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
As part of the Lyra ecosystem, you’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with, learn from, and share perspectives with a community of peer executives across our portfolio. This group includes ambitious first-time senior leaders, entrepreneurs who have built companies over decades, and seasoned operators with deep industry and functional expertise.
The targeted base compensation for this role is $165,000 - $180,000 per year.
