Experienced Project Manager - Lancom

About The Position

One of our operating companies, Lancom, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Auckland.

This is a hands-on role leading the successful delivery of ICT projects across cloud, infrastructure and managed services environments. You will own project delivery from initiation through to completion, managing scope, budgets, resources, timelines and client relationships to ensure exceptional outcomes for both customers and the business.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent ICT projects
  • Manage project scope, budgets, risks, timelines, and reporting
  • Coordinate internal technical teams, software developers, and service delivery resources
  • Run project kick-offs, client meetings, and stakeholder communications
  • Track milestones, actions, issues, and project profitability
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting within ConnectWise PSA
  • Drive continuous improvement through scalable processes and repeatable methodologies

Planning & Organising

  • Manage competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Maintain resource planning and utilisation across delivery teams
  • Keep project documentation and customer deliverables current and accurate

Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Act as the primary escalation point for project delivery issues
  • Understand customer challenges and proactively deliver solutions
  • Communicate confidently across technical and non-technical audiences

Delivery Success Management

  • Ensure smooth project handovers to customers or managed services teams
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve delivery challenges effectively
  • Champion customer success throughout the project lifecycle

Product & Service Knowledge

  • Develop strong knowledge of Lancom’s technology solutions and platforms
  • Contribute to internal process and technical documentation

Skills required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ ICT Project Management experience, ideally within an MSP environment
  • Preferred qualifications: Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM, Agile, or CompTIA Project + Cloud certifications including AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Proven experience delivering complex technical projects to deadline and budget
  • Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
