We approach every project—actually, every aspect of our work—as an opportunity to dip our toes into the revitalizing stream of the new. The original conception of our agency (which has since been realized) was that of a happy workshop, a place where the mind and hands are free to construct brilliant new things for our clients. Yet, we never forget that we are in fact a business. Everything we do is to further the commercial goals of our clients, whether that is to sell a product or an idea. To achieve this, we continue to add only the best people—those who have the right talent, temperament, and teamwork orientation—to further our collective goals. About the role:

The EVP, Director of Client Service is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving success and growth at the highest levels of the organization. As a key member of the agency's leadership team, they play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the organization, driving strategic initiatives and fostering innovation and excellence across all departments. They are a true mentor, guiding team leads towards success to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of the industry.  

 

Job responsibilities

  • The EVP, Director of Client Service has mastered the skills defined across the Client Service department roles
  • Has proven executive leadership experience leading large-scale businesses and teams
  • Is responsible for leading all or a portion of the Client Service team 
  • Leads a team of Client Service leaders to develop and execute integrated strategies that align with client goals and objectives
  • Is expert in navigating complex client environments and building strong alliances while delivering results
  • Serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key client stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Is responsible for leading and mentoring teams to achieve the business development goals defined across accounts as noted in SVP, Group Client Service Director and SVP, Client Service Director roles
  • Leads client pitches, fostering growth and expanding our client portfolio
  • Provides strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients and internal teams, staying up-to-date of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and implement agency-wide initiatives, processes, and policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Has a strong ability to identify and develop talent with a record of building versatile leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Has a strong ability to influence and empower direct reports and peers to be a part of a strategic change and organizational evolution 
  • Is an excellent communicator (verbal and written) at all levels of the organization

 

Professional skills and requirements

  • 18+ years of client services experience in healthcare advertising
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior level clients
  • Proven track record of success in managing large-scale client accounts and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution
  • Proven ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism and integrity
  • Proven ability to grow client business
  • Ability to manage, nurture, and grow a team of client service professionals
  • Ability to identify business changes in order to allocate resources effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and
  • concepts to diverse audiences
