About the role:
The VP, Client Service Director is a true leader who sets the tone for each brand team. They are known for their ability to lead, elevate, and clearly articulate direction, while continuously inspiring innovation in the work and ensuring the health of the business. Their strategic insight and creative mindset make them a trusted partner to both clients and colleagues.
This role is based in Europe and represents a unique opportunity to serve as one of the founding leaders in our global expansion. While Minds + Assembly does not yet have a physical office in Europe, this individual will operate as a core member of a connected, distributed “global office,” partnering closely with teams across the US spanning strategy, creative, writing, and design.
This person will act as a primary client lead for global engagements, serving as an on-the-ground partner to international stakeholders while ensuring seamless integration with our US-based teams. They will play a critical role in shaping how Minds + Assembly shows up globally, helping to establish the foundation, ways of working, and standard of excellence for our growing international presence.
Job responsibilities:
- Manages overall portfolio/group of accounts, driving overall client success
- Serves as a primary client lead for global accounts, representing Minds + Assembly across international stakeholders
- Acts as a senior, on-the-ground presence in Europe, ensuring strong partnership and continuity across global engagements, with the ability to both shape strategy and execute tactically
- Builds and maintains strong relationships across client organizations, including senior stakeholders and procurement
- Identifies and drives new business opportunities across both existing and new global accounts
- Leads and develops high-performing client service teams, both locally and across distributed global teams
- Partners closely with US-based teams across strategy, creative, and production to deliver integrated, cross-market solutions
- Navigates regional market dynamics and ensures work is relevant, compliant, and impactful across geographies
- Operates seamlessly across time zones, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness to global clients

Professional skills and requirements:
- 11+ years of client services experience in healthcare advertising
- Experience working across global or multi-market brands, with a strong understanding of regional nuances
- Proven ability to build and grow client relationships at the Director/Sr. Director level and above
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across geographies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with US-based teams while supporting international markets
- Strong cultural awareness and adaptability when working with global clients
- Experience managing distributed teams and working across time zones
- Proven ability to grow client business
- Strong understanding of account planning and client business objectives
- Experience developing and managing scopes of work in partnership with production
- Deep understanding of multidisciplinary teams and when to engage resources
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to flex across formats and audiences
